Reqiva are seeking a Contracts Manager for a well established and growing Defence and Communications company based in the London area. 

As a Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the implantation and compliance of clients group policies, in particular those relating to Rosk Management procedures. 

The core responsibilities for the Contracts Manager,
  • Present commercial aspects of proposals at internal bid reviews. 
  • Review terms and conditions and advise on any risks. 
  • Managing the group property portfolio, including lease renewals, terminations and other general enquiries
  • Undertaking a commercial review of the full suite of proposal documents.
  • Ensure all new Purchase Orders and/or Contracts are accepted in line with the company process
  • Identification of potential liabilities, risks, issues and disputes, arising with customers, suppliers, partners and third parties, and produce innovative mitigation plans.
  • To support the Compliance function to review, manage and renew Counterparty agreements
Essential requirements for this Contracts Manager role, 
  • 5 years minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Formal legal training/World Commerce & Contracting
  • A good degree 
  • Knowledge of UK MoD terms of contracting DEFCONS & DEFFORMS, with a good working knowledge of the US DoD FARS & DFARS
  • Professional experience ideally gained within the Defence industry or within a similar international and interdisciplinary environment.
  • Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office suite especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Great communication skills 
  • Ability too work well within part of a growing team 
The salary for this Contracts Manager position is up to £50,000 depending on experience along side some excellent company benefits.
