Data Scientist | Python | Analytics | ML

An opportunity is available for an Enterprise Software business who are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team. They are looking for a Data Scientist to be responsible for the end-to-end development and deployment of a broad set of production models. 
As part of the position you will build, develop, deploy and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics supporting key business decisions. You will train, develop and supervise a collaborative team in an agile environment. Leverage ML/statistical and software testing techniques to monitor and ensure accuracy of data and deliverables. Develop and implement quality controls and standards to maintain organizational expectations and regulatory requirements.


Experience required: 

•    Graduate Calibre.
•    At least 5 years of experience in a position in data science and analytics, at least 3 years of experience leading a team. 
•    Knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. 
•    Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical modelling techniques to solve commercial data analysis. 
•    Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. 
•    Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously. 
•    Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills. 
•    Strong Leadership and Influencing skills; interacting with senior stakeholders.
•    Strong programming skills (Python, Scala, R), and query languages: SQL, NoSQL, CYPHER.
•    Experience with big data pipeline tools and environments: Hadoop, Kafka, Spark. 
•    Experience with Data Science tools: Databricks, TensorFlow/Keras, Jupyter notebooks. 
•    Cloud environments: AWS and Azure CI/CD and DevOps tools and environments: git, github.com/gitlab.com, Jenkins, unit testing frameworks. 
•    C, C , Java, NodeJS, or other programming languages a plus.
