Service Operations Manager – High Availability Infrastructure

We’re seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to take ownership of a high-performing, high-availability Hardware Security Module (HSM) service. You’ll join a collaborative, security-focused technical team responsible for maintaining 100% service uptime across global data centres.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in infrastructure operations who enjoys solving complex problems, leading migration projects, and managing secure, regulated environments.

The role is Partially remote with roughly 2 days per week in the Aylesbury office. Some weeks less will be required and some weeks more, so it is important that you are flexible and able to work in the office as and when required.

�� Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operation of HSM services
• Lead customer onboarding, capacity planning, and infrastructure growth
• Manage global data centre expansion projects and customer migrations
• Ensure process compliance for security audits (ISO27001, PCI, etc.)
• Act as a backup Security Officer for HSM management in secure environments
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and resilience

�� What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience running high-availability services in secure/regulated environments
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, TLS, firewalls, switches)
• Experience managing multiple projects and technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with ISO27001, PCI DSS/PIN/P2PE standards
• Knowledge of cryptography and HSMs is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
