Reqiva are partnered with a successful technology company recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join the growing team.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, with an understanding of all aspects of the product development lifecycle, who can take on the role of Product Authority for existing, and future, sonar products. You will be part of a small team and report directly to the Head of Engineering working with a variety of teams.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will need to, 

• Responsible for the design and development of new and exciting projects 
• Create and maintain designs in 3D CAD
• Work collaboratively with existing and new suppliers.
• Verify and validate electro-mechanical designs using classical hand calculations, finite element analysis and experimental testing
• Provide regular status updates of workload, progress and issues to the Head of Engineering.

To be considered for this Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need at least 5 years experience in a similar role and have excellent product development skills.
