Principal Mobile Engineer I Flutter

Reqiva are currently partnered with an established brand within the FinTech space who are currently looking to grow their engineering team with the addition of a Principal Engineer specialising in Mobile Development. This role will be pivotal for the success of ongoing projects going forward.   

This role is primarily hands on, but will involved some management of others within the team. 

To be successful you will need the following skillset: 

Responsibilities:

● Develop future-proof software solutions, solve technical problems of the highest complexity, lead architectural design, and perform system-level integration in alignment with their exponential growth.
● Devise roadmaps and strategies to establish the technical direction for key components and services; work hands-on to integrate them into their systems.
● Create strong coding standards, maintain technical design documents, and develop operational concepts and interfaces.
● Solve scaling and performance problems with innovative architectural changes.
● Assist executives in making informed decisions regarding company goals by providing engineering expertise.

Experience required:

● University degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
● 15+ years of commercial industry experience.
● Strong software and mobile development experience with different languages and frameworks such as Flutter, Dart, Kotlin, React Native, Android and other software language experience.
● Experience with databases and front end frameworks is all desirable.
● Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
