We're seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our clients innovative team and help implement next-generation solutions on state-of-the-art FPGA platforms. Based in Cambridge, UK this role will be Hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and analyse top-level architecture for advanced trading systems.
- Select the most suitable FPGA devices for our needs.
- Design, verify, and validate FPGA infrastructure and in-house trading algorithms.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based quantitative analysts to bring trading strategies to life.
- A strong grasp of digital logic, design principles, synchronous design techniques, and computer architecture.
- Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog/System Verilog or VHDL.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools, FPGA design, and implementation processes.
- Expertise in digital design flows, including RTL coding, test bench development, synthesis, timing analysis, and HW emulation.
- Experience with Xilinx and Intel/Altera FPGAs, and related design tools.
- Scripting skills, particularly in Python, to automate and optimize design tasks.
- A problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication abilities.
