Senior PHP developer

This is an opportunity to work for a leading UK B2B manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire. They're are a young, close-knit, but passionate team who pride themselves on having the most advanced website within our industry. Their core focus is on bringing the most innovative printed products to market.
  
You will be predominantly working remotely but there will be a requirement to attend site a minimum of 1 day a week (for catchup / discussions with the development team etc)
  
Responsibilities for the backend Developer:

• You will be expected to work with other experienced developers alongside our management team.
• The successful candidate should be flexible and have a good understanding of best practices, as well as experience in testing, code standards, solid principles and OOP and have experience coding with the principles
• You will show good timekeeping, excellent collaborative skills, a desire to grow your skillsets.

Vital requirements for Backend developer:

• 5 years + experience in OOP
• 4 years+ experience with Laravel/Symfony
• Basic understanding of writing clean code (SOLID/Design Patterns)
• Experience of working with APIs
• Experience working on greenfield projects

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of Wordpress plugins
• Architecture knowledge
• Strive to be the best
