VP of Quantitative Products | Paris
Reqiva are seeking a VP of Quantitative Products to work for a global online trading platform.
You will come from a strong background of quantitative trading products and strategies. You will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in our clients online trading platforms. In the role of VP of Quantitative Products, you will be responsible for a team of Quantitative analysts and developers, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with the business needs.
The role:
- You will Lead the design, development, and management of quantitative trading products.
- Draft roadmaps, processes and product strategy, driving innovation.
- Utilise advanced quantitative techniques, including stochastic modelling, machine learning and algorithmic trading strategies, to create innovative products.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including data science, software engineering and risk management.
- Oversee the implementation of products on the back-end and front-end of the platform.
- Lead quantitative teams, including quants from research labs and leading mathematics schools.
You skills and experience:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science, with a focus on quantitative finance and product development.
- 10+ years in quantitative banking and finance, with a proven track record of success in developing and managing quantitative trading strategies and products.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in quantitative finance and algorithmic trading, such as Python, Perl or C++, as well as experience with quantitative libraries and data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, trading dynamics, and quantitative modelling techniques, with expertise in stochastic processes, time series analysis, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate quantitative concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
This role can be based in our clients Malaysia (Near KL) Head Quarters or In Paris, so we are welcoming applications from individuals in both locations.
