Senior DevOps Engineer – Cyprus

What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of Kubernetes clusters using cloud platforms like GKE or EKS, with a focus on tools such as Istio and operators.
- Implement advanced network architectures including VPC peering, multi-zone/multi-region setups, and secure VPN connections.
- Drive automation using programming skills (Python, Ruby, Go) to streamline infrastructure operations.
- Champion Infrastructure-as-Code best practices with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Maintain a high level of security, proactively mitigating threats and managing vulnerabilities.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime for production systems.
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP) and solid knowledge of cloud best practices.
- Strong Linux skills, including advanced debugging tools (strace, ltrace) and shell scripting.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, from deployment to scaling and optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or lead projects.
- 5–7+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
