About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a fast-growing Med-Tech company at the intersection of AI innovation and healthcare.
You will work on advanced computer vision and medical imaging projects, building and deploying machine learning models that make a genuine impact on clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
This role will suit an engineer who combines strong technical expertise with creativity, precision, and a passion for improving healthcare through applied AI.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years’ commercial machine learning experience.
- Minimum 2 years working specifically with medical imaging / computer vision.
- Strong skills in Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, CNNs, and MLOps.
- Demonstrated experience building ML models for production environments.
- Familiarity with SaMD Class II regulatory or compliant development advantageous.

- Design, develop, and optimise machine learning models for medical imaging applications.
- Build and maintain scalable, production-grade ML pipelines and APIs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and clinicians to translate research into deployable solutions.
- Apply deep learning methods (CNNs, segmentation, object detection) for complex image datasets.
- Contribute to model validation and testing processes aligned with medical device standards.
