About the Role
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Linux DevOps Engineer to join a fast-moving and innovative technology team building a highly secure, cloud-native platform. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure at scale, where automation, reliability, and security are critical.

You’ll be instrumental in managing and optimising Linux environments, driving infrastructure-as-code practices, and enhancing identity, monitoring, and logging solutions across international data centre environments. If you're passionate about Linux, automation, and operational excellence — we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Linux Management: Operate and maintain secure, stable, and scalable Linux systems.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Deploy and manage observability tools (e.g., Sensu, OpsGenie, Grafana Loki).
  • Identity & Access Management: Configure FreeIPA (or similar) to control access across systems and environments.
  • Security Hardening: Apply best practices using firewallD, SELinux, OpenSCAP, and related frameworks.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Use Ansible to automate provisioning, updates, and operational tasks.
  • Service Operation: Support cloud-based cybersecurity and compliance services across a global infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of system configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
What You’ll Need
  • Strong experience in Linux system administration and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Proven use of monitoring and alerting tools like Sensu, Grafana, and OpsGenie.
  • Knowledge of identity management systems such as FreeIPA.
  • Familiarity with logging stacks such as Grafana Loki.
  • Good understanding of security hardening techniques and failover strategies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Background in cybersecurity, cloud services, or platform operations.
  • Exposure to global-scale infrastructure environments or highly regulated industries.
Why Apply
  • Work on a platform that’s helping protect critical digital infrastructure worldwide.
  • Be part of a collaborative international team of engineers and technologists.
  • Hybrid flexibility, with roles available in both the UK and Germany.
  • Competitive salary and career development opportunities.
