Senior Robotics Engineer | Brisbane
Reqiva is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Brisbane, developing an innovative UAS platform.
We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to drive the development of real-world autonomous systems.
This is a hands-on role focused on building and deploying robotic platforms - not research or simulation. You'll work across perception, control, and system integration in a small, high-performing engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead development of robotic and autonomous systems
- Integrate perception pipelines (sensor fusion, SLAM, mapping)
- Work across embedded systems, control, and decision-making layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready systems
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in robotics, autonomy, or related fields
- Strong experience with C++ and/or Python
- Experience with real-world system deployment (not just research)
- Background in UAV, UGV, or autonomous platforms highly regarded
- Comfortable working in small, fast-paced teams with high ownership
