Computer Vision Engineer | Real-World AI Systems
Location: Queensland, fully remote, Australia
We’re partnering with an engineering-led company building fully automated, real-world systems powered by robotics and computer vision - and they’re looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join the team.
This is not theoretical AI or SaaS dashboards - you’ll be working on computer vision deployed directly onto hardware, where your models drive real-world decisions in live production environments.
Core responsibilities
- Build and deploy computer vision models for autonomous robotics
– Develop perception systems for inspection and real-time decision making
– Work with challenging, non-standard datasets (multi-spectral / noisy environments)
– Integrate models into edge systems operating 24/7
– Collaborate closely with robotics and engineering teams
Experience required:
-Strong experience in computer vision / deep learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV)
– Experience deploying models into real-world / production environments
– Exposure to robotics, edge systems, or hardware-integrated ML
– Ability to work across model development, optimisation, and deployment
